MetaPort VR
The primary aim of this project was to explore and understand the capabilities of the metaverse in facilitating virtual tours within the Port of Antwerpen Bruges. Central to this was gauging the user experience and acceptance of a metaverse-based tour.
A pivotal aspect of the MetaPort Proof of Concept (POC) was to craft an awe-inspiring experience for users, with special attention given to catering to high-level international delegates.
To validate the MetaPort experience it was tested with over 100 visitors of the Flemish Port Day in 3 locations in Antwerp and Bruges.
Additionally, this venture served as the foundational step towards the evolution of the next generation APICA.
